Software Development Engineer - Zurich

Tasks and Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain software that meets highest quality standards with regards to robustness, testing and documentation
- Participate in architecture and detail design phases when creating new software components
- Provide effort estimates and regular status updates on planned or ongoing development projects
- Support the other software engineers in the team with your technical knowledge
Job Requirements
For this position, a BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent applicable education or experience is required.
We are looking for experienced software development engineers with excellent C++ and Java programming skills and certain flair for software and database design. Our ideal candidate is capable within Linux, UNIX and Windows OS environments. You understand and appreciate a professional development process to create high quality software that meets market requirements. Experience and know-how in telecom technologies is a big plus.
You are an open, dynamic personality that enjoys working in a fast moving industry. You are a self-motivated and goal oriented team player and you display an excellent sense of responsibility and ownership.
English language skills are required. German is a plus.
